Northwest Review

Northwest Review (NWR), 5243 University of Oregon, Eugene OR 97403-5243, tel. 541-346-3957, fax 541-346-0537, nwreview@uoregon.edu, has been in circulation for more than 50 years. Its pages have seen poets and writers like Charles Bukowski, Raymond Carver, Philip Levine, and William Stafford. With a solid reputation nationally and internationally, NWR is considered a regional force as well in terms of arts and culture. At half to three quarters of an inch thick, in 6 x 9 format, with hard stock cover and plenty of artwork, NWR brims with essay, poetry, fiction, non-fiction, translation and what they call “hybrid forms”. Submissions are accepted via snail mail only, with a SASE and a highly encouraged subscription. No on-line submissions are accepted. A subscription form can be printed on the website at http://nwr.uoregon.edu Subscriptions have tiered rates of 1, 2, and 3 years for $22, $40, and $58 US Dollars. Students rates are also available for 1 and 2 year at $20 and $36 US Dollars. Single issues are US$8.00. Currently NWR is looking for non-fiction work only.
